It has been a few months since my visit to the Isabel II bastion, last remnant of the Second Line of Defense of San Juan. Very little remains, to see the rest we have to use our imagination. That was until I came cross these two images captured at the beginning of the 20th century where we can clearly see the low wall and it's reltionship with the bastion, the old Military Road (today Avenida Constitucion) and the wireless telephone station (today Casa Cuna).
